Jeans have evolved significantly over the past century. However, they were originally designed as a durable workwear item. Our Wide Leg Jeans pay homage to the utilitarian origins of the five-pocket jean.

These jeans offer a true wide fit with a full leg, high-rise waist, and a large leg opening. We have incorporated traditional features such as exposed rear pocket rivets and a Japan-made two-prong cinch to ensure they sit high on the waist.

The latest edition of our Wide Leg Jean is crafted from 14.25oz Organic Cotton Red Line Selvedge denim, intricately woven on 1920s Toyoda shuttle looms in Japan. This compact weave will produce a high-contrast authentic fading pattern.

Expertly made by our partners in Japan We complete each pair with a selvedge fly and a hand-branded Dawson waist patch. The selvedge is Sanforized, so no soaking is required before wearing them. At 14oz. per square yard, the fabric has the right amount of heft to drape handsomely without being too heavy to wear in the warmer months.

As you wear them, expect to see authentic vintage fades, roping on the waistband, yoke, and hems, and a fabric that will soften up beautifully over time.
