These jeans offer a true wide fit with a full leg, high-rise waist, and a large leg opening. We have incorporated traditional features such as exposed rear pocket rivets and a Japan-made two-prong cinch to ensure they sit high on the waist.

The latest edition of our Wide Leg Jean is crafted from 14.25oz Organic Cotton Red Line Selvedge denim, intricately woven on 1920s Toyoda shuttle looms in Japan. This compact weave will produce a high-contrast authentic fading pattern.

Crafted from premium Japanese selvedge denim, these jeans undergo a painstaking aging process that mirrors the natural evolution of raw denim—without the wait. Subtle whiskering, soft creases, and high-contrast fades recreate the character and depth that can only come from years of dedicated wear.

Constructed by our expert partners in Japan, each pair features traditional selvedge details, a high-rise fit, and our signature finishing touches, including a selvedge fly and a hand-branded Dawson waist patch. The result is a jean that looks and feels like an old favourite from day one, while retaining the durability and craftsmanship Dawson Denim is known for.
